Magic Decks – Miracle Rogue

MD001 - Miracle Rogue LargeWe will be having a new column for Fridays, and it is called ‘Magic Decks’! We feel that ‘Streamtime with Kero’ was not interactive enough, as those who missed out on his live streams will have to watch the recorded version. Instead, we will promote when he is streaming live, just like for our other resident streamers.

Therefore, we have came out with ‘Magic Decks’, which will showcase decks that seem so overpowered and wonderful; our readers can also learn more about deck-building!

In our first edition, we will be highlighting the Miracle Rogue deck. The Miracle Rogue deck utilises many low casting cost spells and minions that stack upon card usage (Questing AdventurerMana Addict, and Edwin Van Cleef). Drawing power of this deck is not neglected as the Gadgetzan Auctioneer ensures that your card draw flows like water.

Pros

  • Dish out one-hit KOs
  • Fun
  • Versatile
  • Fear-inducing on opponents

Cons

  • Card removal targeted at stacking minions
  • Taunt creatures may weaken your stacking minions
  • Combo-reliant
  • Timing-reliant

Counter-Counter!

  • Stealth them to prevent card removal (Conceal)
  • Use Eviscerate and other Direct Damage Spells to destroy their taunt minions so that your minions cannot be picked off upon removal of stealth

Strategy

It is easy to utilise this deck, the main aim is to boost your minions with the low casting costs spells, and ensure that they stay alive! (You have very few minions!) To get superior draw power, abuse the Gadgetzan Auctioneer similarly with your spells.

Watch your opponent squirm as you massacre him with your Minion-zillas!

For a better understanding, you can watch this video by Force Strategy Gaming, which also adds in gameplay videos of the deck in action!

What do you think of this deck; let us know in the comments below! You can also let us know if there are any decks you will like us to showcase! For more quality Hearthstone and community news, visit Hearthstone Alley or our Facebook page!
