Pro Player Spycam #13 – bj0rN

Bjorn LongWe will be looking at bj0rN, an active member in the Singapore Hearthstone Community, in this week’s ‘Pro Player Spycam’!

bj0rN has been a mainstay, participating in many Singapore Hearthstone tournaments since their inceptions; HAT Singapore 2013 is one of them! Like Allura, he obtained better positions as he entered more tournaments, becoming a fearsome player to play against.

His strength lies in his knowledge of the game, as he also played Magic: The Gathering competitively and numerous Trading Card Games (TCGs) before Hearthstone. Not only that, he has started to work towards the future as he has formed a team with other strong Singaporean players, called ‘Team ManaSurge’! Definitely a guy to watch out for in the future!

Featured Deck: Watchmen (Druid)

Inspired by Strifecro, it is a Mid-Range deck that excels in being aggressive against other Mid-Range and Control decks with plays such as a Turn 1 Harvest Golem or an early Silence to your own Ancient Watcher to start doing early heavy damage.

It is also defensive enough to hold off against Aggro decks with a lot of Taunts minions and win the game during the mid to late game. The combination of Savage Roar and Force of Nature is always a threat, being able to deal 14 damage with just these 2 cards and more if there are any other minions on the field, providing a lot of high burst damage.

The Spellbreaker acts as a third Silence, which throws people off at times. A strong combo is a Turn 1 + Coin + Ancient Watcher with a Turn 2 + Innervate + Spellbreaker. If the opponent is unable to react to them, 12 damage can be done by Turn 3!

  • Innervate x2
  • Wrath x2Bjorn
  • Savage Roar x1
  • Swipe x2
  • Keeper of the Grove x2
